Cornerstone celebrated our 13th annual Dancing with Local Stars on February 3rd, 2023. It was a night to remember as seven duos came together to compete for the ALL-STAR title. From hip-hop renditions to rock musicals, these teams showed off their dancing skills for a good time and a good cause.

After all teams had completed their routines, it was up to a panel of celebrity judges and votes from the audience to award the 2023 ALL-STAR champion. It was a hard decision, but after much delegation, the All-Star Champions Trophy went to Shawn Jones and April Hawkins. The duo that raised the most money for their team was awarded the People’s Choice Award – Anthony Oliver and Sarah Barry. All teams did great, and many cheers could be heard from the audience as each one showcased their moves.

Cornerstone also recognized Kate Daughtery, of Down Country, with the Humanitarian of the Year Award. Down Country utilizes Down Syndrome to provide an overview of disability awareness. Through her efforts and the support of her team, Down Country has established itself as an organization that promotes positive awareness and training for individuals with disabilities/exceptional abilities and those working with them in the Tri-State area.
Great people, food, and auction items made this year’s Dancing with Local Stars a huge success. It was an honor seeing supporters of Cornerstone all in one place. We wouldn’t be able to provide the services we do without help from our community, and for that, we are eternally grateful.
