I bring 14 years of professional experience, and many years of life experience, to my role as therapist at Cornerstone. I obtained a Master’s Degree from Western Illinois University, and hold the highest counselor licensures in both Illinois and Missouri. I am trained and experienced in a variety of therapy approaches, yet believe that it is essentially the relationship between client and counselor that helps to effect change. I work with children, adolescents, adults and couples. At Cornerstone we strive to tailor the therapy to meet your needs, and expect that you will see results within the first few sessions. One of my specialties is the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and other methods to resolve causes of depression, anxiety, and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I look forward to helping you to resolve problems and to heal from the wounds that happen to us all.
