Cornerstone's 5th annual golf benefit was held on May 21 at Spring Lake Country Club. We had a great day for golf! Out thanks to everyone who joined us for the day and dinner too. Congratulations to our winners in two flights: Dave Rakers, Curt Hilbing, Curt Adams and Alan Steigelman; and, Tony Rhinberger, John Kies, Jerry Voepel and Scott Gilliand.
United Way of Adams County, Inc. announced Fiscal Year 2011 funding to area not-for-profit organizations on June 10. United Way partially funds two Cornerstone programs: Comprehensive Youth Services and Sliding Scale Counseling. United Way increased its funding for at sliding scale counseling by nearly 17% for the new fiscal year which begins on July 1. Thank you United Way board and staff members and resource volunteers for recognizing the need for and value of Cornerstone's programs.
