Lindsey E. Davis, MS
After growing up in Quincy, I attended Taylor University in Indiana where I obtained a B.A. in Psychology in 2006. I earned an M.S. in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage & Family Therapy from John Brown University in Arkansas where I worked as a Graduate Assistant for the department. I joined Cornerstone in April 2009 as a Therapist. I am pursuing my licensure in Illinois as a Professional Counselor and Associate Marriage & Family Therapist.
In counseling, I work alongside clients to set goals and utilize their unique strengths in order to discover solutions to life’s challenges and produce personal growth. I also utilize a systemic approach which considers the important influence that relationships play in our lives. While I enjoy working with the diverse challenges of individuals, couples, and families of all ages with, I particularly enjoy helping clients with family issues – improving parent-child relationships and addressing marital issues. I also have a special interest in assisting clients experiencing grief and loss, anxiety, those facing hang-ups in adjusting to life’s challenges, and those seeking premarital counseling.
