Angie Barton, MA PC
My name is Angie Barton…Angie being short for Angela. I joined the staff of Cornerstone August, 2007. I live in Bowling Green, Missouri and have worked as a counselor since August, 2003. Previous to working as a counselor I worked at Missouri Children’s Division for 8 years and taught Jr. High/Sr. High Social Sciences in Silex, Mo. the 8 years prior to working in the Children’s Division.
I enjoy working with both children and adults. A large portion of my time working at Cornerstone is working with children in the Quincy Public School System, however I do have office hours at Cornerstone as well that allows me to work with both children and adults.
I received my Master’s Degree in Counseling from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo. and my Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from Hannibal-LaGrange College. I continue to have certification as a teacher in Mo. and I am licensed as a counselor in Missouri.
My spare time is primarily spent at home on the farm and spending as much time with my family as possible. I particularly enjoy attending school activities/sporting activities of our many nieces and nephews ranging from Pre-K through High School.
